Oh, friend have patience
be not in haste
Lord, grant you vision
You, so well placed
Sing choir of angels
Lift spirits high
Build to crescendo
The hour is nigh
Up the hill you shall proceed
to the thing you want, you need
Do not lament your lack of pace
Slow and steady wins the race
Search not wi'agression
Let your ego speak
Passive attraction
is not weak
In time you will wait no more
it will soon come through your door
Just relax, enjoy the chase
Slow and steady wins the race
So now have patience
friend, i beseech
Lord, grant you company
Lengthen your reach
And may your days be filled with love
That, friend, you are worthy of
The time will come to play your ace
Slow and steady wins the race

Home (Here in the Westcountry)
Well I've been down to New York
and I've been down to Rome
and I've been down to Chinatown
but none of them felt like home
Well I've been to Barcelona
and seen the stadium
But it's down here this time of year
that I have the most fun
Well I've been down to New York
and I've been down to Rome
and I've been down to Chinatown
but none of them felt like home
So home, that's the place for me
Home, that's where I want to be
I've found my way to the USA
and seen all they have there
well the streets are meaner, the grass isn't greener
so baby why should I care?
Well Paris has its boulevards
and its avenues
Amsterdam is beatiful
Berlin too
But Exeter cathedral
can not be outdone
and oh! the feel in Freedom Fields
in the summer sun
So home, that's the place for me
Home, that's where I want to be
Well all the way from Helston
way on up to Frome
Yeah that's my home
So home, that's the place for me
Home, that's where I want to be
Home, that's the place for me
Yeah home, here in the westcountry
and I've been down to Rome
and I've been down to Chinatown
but none of them felt like home
Well I've been to Barcelona
and seen the stadium
But it's down here this time of year
that I have the most fun
Well I've been down to New York
and I've been down to Rome
and I've been down to Chinatown
but none of them felt like home
So home, that's the place for me
Home, that's where I want to be
I've found my way to the USA
and seen all they have there
well the streets are meaner, the grass isn't greener
so baby why should I care?
Well Paris has its boulevards
and its avenues
Amsterdam is beatiful

But Exeter cathedral
can not be outdone
and oh! the feel in Freedom Fields
in the summer sun
So home, that's the place for me
Home, that's where I want to be
Well all the way from Helston
way on up to Frome
Yeah that's my home
So home, that's the place for me
Home, that's where I want to be
Home, that's the place for me
Yeah home, here in the westcountry
